About The Outreach Team
The Outreach Team is a premier national field firm. We partner with organizations working to solve some of the biggest problems facing our society -- from protecting human rights to fighting climate change -- and help them build the resources they need to make an impact. We are a people-powered enterprise; our campaigns are effective because we hire diverse teams of talented people, invest in our staff, and treat them well.
We are hiring Lead & Deputy Directors to manage our offices in Greensboro, Pembroke, Greenville, Winston Salem, and Boone. Deputy Field Directors will recruit, train, and manage a team of local campus canvassers working to elect progressive political candidates. Directors will work within their team to build an office to scale from the ground up. All directors are expected to train staff in the field while leading by example themselves; they must also communicate long and short term goals to staff and manage campaign reporting. The Deputy Directors manage field staff and Team Leads and report to the Lead Director.
North Carolina is home to over 560,000 college students across over 100 college campuses, including 10 HBCUs. Young voters have the numbers and the power to shape the future of our state through leadership in the electoral process. And in a state like North Carolina, even a small increase in student voter turnout could shape our state for years to come.
That’s why we’re canvassing with Rally NC - Help protect and expand democracy by elevating youth leadership across the state in order to empower thousands of college students to take control of their futures, get organized, and vote in the 2024 elections. We're done waiting for change. We're ready to make it happen!
We are hiring immediately. This position can run through Election day, November 5th.
