Voter Registration Canvasser
Hiring Immediately; weekly earning potential around $2400+ w/ bonuses
Full-time & Part-time
Voter registration is a crucial first step in increasing voter turnout and allowing voters to impact critical elections. We will be registering new voters who agree with our progressive values, and want to see Trump removed from office. We’ll stop people in heavily trafficked areas and walk them through the process to register to vote. By engaging community members and motivating new voters, we are working to ensure that the electorate accurately reflects the diversity and interests of all!
This role is a great opportunity to gain experience in the following areas: Leadership, Communication & Advocacy, Community Outreach & Engagement, Campaign Work, Public Policy, and Social Enterprise.
Get paid well! Canvass positions start at $23/hour. Leadership positions start at $25/hour. We offer a $1/hr bonus to staff who are bilingual in English and Spanish. We also offer overtime, and many bonus opportunities. Our bonus opportunities include an attendance bonus of $150 when you work 5 shifts or more, a stackable weekend bonus of $50 for anyone working Friday or Saturday (you can do both to get $100!) and a bonus of an additional $150 when you work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in a single week, long shift bonuses of $75 per long shift, and double shift bonuses of $100 per double shift. All of these bonuses are stackable, and bring the total weekly earning potential to $2,400+ when you meet all bonus requirements.
